Serena Morris: Graphic Design Portfolio

I create still and motion graphics for community programming, film, and live-stream local meetings and events. Edit videos and animated stream overlays for various productions. Experience with video production, live-streaming technology, and animation tools.

I help support library initiatives by enhancing visual communication and engaging the community through digital and print media.

I create eye-catching illustrations for articles, including main headers and GIFs with support from the UX/UI team to boost reader engagement. My role also involves curating social media content and designing newsletters to keep branding fresh and consistent.

Awarded 2nd place for a cartoon illustration of Nestor the Owl, Westfield State University's mascot. Received a $25 prize and had the artwork selected as a featured coloring page for children at Homecoming.

I had the privilege of participating in my typography class's Experimental Typography Gallery show, where I collaborated with fellow students to push the boundaries of traditional design. I created my own font out of burnt matches.
